When I first looked at working in salons or clinics, something didn’t sit right with me. It felt more like moving people through appointments — like a conveyor belt — rather than creating space for genuine care.
I chose to work differently.
I work from a calm, private space at home, which allows me to give each appointment the time and attention it deserves, without rushing between clients.
Because when the body relaxes, it releases.
This is healing, not a transaction.
Massage combined with myofascial release or Reiki for a more integrated session when the body would benefit from more than one approach.

Regular treatments can also be booked as bundles, offering discounted rates for those who want to maintain their wellbeing over time.
Deep tissue and myofascial work may include guided breathing to help the body relax and allow deeper work without forcing the tissue. Stretch work is incorporated where it supports mobility and release restriction.

The Full Body Reset
When tension, stress and fatigue have built up across the body, one treatment often isn’t enough.
The Full Body Reset is my most comprehensive session, designed to give the time and space needed to work more deeply and more broadly across the body.
This longer appointment allows a combination of techniques where appropriate. These may include massage, myofascial release (dry cupping), breathwork, stretch work and Reiki.
The session is always body-led. Some areas may need more attention than others, and the treatment adapts accordingly.

Your first visit is simple. You’ll receive directions, parking details, and reminders before your appointment so there’s nothing to worry about when you arrive.
When you come in, we’ll sit down first and talk about what’s going on for you before we start the session. I’ll explain everything before we begin so you always know what’s happening and why.
For the treatment itself, you’ll be asked to undress down to your underwear and lie on the table. You’ll be fully covered throughout the session, with only the area being worked on uncovered at any time.

My path into this work didn’t start in a treatment room.
Before starting Mend, I had a career that on paper looked great and a life that seemed to match it. But in reality I was completely disconnected from myself. I spent years pushing through stress, exhausted and ignoring what my body was trying to tell me.
Eventually it caught up with me. I burned out badly and hit rock bottom. I ended up in hospital and knew something had to change — not just my career, but my lifestyle too.
So I started making a conscious effort to look after myself: staying active, stretching regularly, spending time in nature, and paying attention to the things and people that keep me grounded and balanced.
Most importantly, I started listening to my body.
I realised this didn’t mean disappearing off-grid and abandoning modern life — although sometimes that still sounds appealing. It was about learning how to create a balance between what my body needs and what modern life demands.
What began as a lifestyle shift soon turned into curiosity.
How does this work in the body?
How does stress affect us physically?
How are these things connected?
I wanted other people to experience the shift I had.
Starting Mend became a way to share that — combining a holistic approach to wellbeing with the nerdy curiosity I have for understanding how the body actually works, and using that knowledge to help people feel better in their own bodies.
